*****WEB SITE****

Our web site is up and running, thanks to the dedication and talent of our Web Master, Alex JABLONOWSKI. We're still solicitating ideas from the membership to expand and improve the site. Any suggestions or comments can be made directly to Alex at the site: www.3rd155s-mike4-12.org .  I encourage everyone to log on to the site and view the content. Alex is also looking for more photos of 155 guns (towed), 105 guns and 4.2 rocket launchers.

*****BIOGRAPHIES****

We have only been able to post a few personal biographies to the web site, due to lack of input from the membership. Many prospective members with whom I have chatted over the last six years have admitted to a trait that most of us share due to the time lapse: "memory-drain". However, when supplied with a few items of personal data, their ability to remember people, times and events is greatly enhanced. Please help us to refresh memories by submitting your personal bio. On-line members can submit their bios to Alex at: alchar1@ameritech.com  or to me at: burntorangejoel@aol.com .  If you do not have access to a computer, you may send your hand-written or typed bio to me at: 1133 Cima Drive, San Marcos, CA, 92078-1307

*****MEMBERSHIP*****

Membership forms are available at the web site for those on-line who wish to join or renew their membership. Cost for new members is $ 25, after which you will receive your membership card and all subsequent newsletters. You will also be posted to (and receive) the active roster. An annual fee for membership renewal was approved during the business meeting at REUNION 2K4. In lieu of this $ 10 annual fee, you may opt for a "Lifetime Membership", the cost of which is $ 25. In order to continue to receive the newsletters, you must be a member "in good standing". "Snail-Mailers" may join or renew by sending a check endorsed to : Joel N. SCHUETTE c/o the Cima Drive address listed above.

*****RAFFLE AND AUCTION*****

Each year at the reunion, we have conducted a Raffle and Auction of items donated by the membership, proceeds of which go the Group General Operating Fund, along with the receipt of membership fees/renewals and cash donations. The General Operating Fund is maintained by the incumbent Reunion Coordinator, who disperses monies in support of planned activities, administrative costs and entertainment costs incurred from year to year. The success of the Raffle and Auction is determined by the generosity of the membership. Annually, our coffers have increased as a result of that generosity. If you have any questions concerning these activities, please contact Jack MARSTON, Assistant Coordinator for Raffle and Auction at: 631 988 4659.

*****UPDATE OF UNIT ROSTER*****

Some members have changed data relative to home addresses, phone numbers, zip codes, etc. or have added/changed e-mail addresses. Please annotate any changes on the RETURN TO COORDINATOR Form enclosed with this newsletter. Help us keep our Unit Roster up to date

*****TAPS*****

Collectively, we mourn the losses of former 4th Battalion, 12th Marines corpsman, Master Chief Corpsman Bob "Doc" BISHOP,USN, who passed away January 16, 2005, and former Corporal Don VOELLER,USMC, who served with 3rd 155s and M-4-12 in Okinawa during the early 1960s and who passed away in July, 2004.
