The 6th Annual Reunion for 3rd155s and M-4-12 will be held in Las Vegas, NV. from September 18th to the 21st at the Four Queens Hotel and Casino in downtown Sin City. Members as well as their guests are welcomed. The room rate from Sunday, Sept 17, through Thur. night, Sept. 21st is $ 49 per room, per night, plus 11 % room tax. A limited number of rooms are available for occupancy Sept. 17th and Sept. 21st. If you wish to arrive a day early and/or leave a day late, you are advised to make your reservations at the earliest time possible. Additionally, 5 rooms are available for Fri. and Sat. night, Sept. 15th and 16th at the special rate of $ 89 per night. Cost to members and guests will be $ 85 per person. This assessment is necessary to help defray the costs incurred to provide Hors d'oeuvres, the barbeque on Tuesday, breakfast and the banquet dinner on Wednesday, in addition to incidentals such as transportation, liquor, soft drinks, entertainment, gratuities,etc. A review of several other USMC units which conduct annual reunions revealed that, in most cases, the room costs alone are in excess of $100 per night and the reunion sites lack the camaraderie of the Leatherneck Club, in addition to the special perks provided to our group by the Four Queens management. If you wish to pay in advance, you may send a check endorsed to me at the address below, or you may make your payment upon arrival at the Reunion. Either method is acceptable. Room reservations may be made by dialing 1 - 800 - 634 - 6045 and then pressing "1" for reservations. Make sure you inform the reservations clerk that you are with the M-4-12 Marine Reunion Group. The Hotel Code for our Group is : CV 0917. If you have any problems making your reservation, ask the clerk to transfer you to "Sales" and then speak to Pam Dreyer, who is the Director. She knows our group well, and she will resolve any problems you may have. When you make your reservation, you will be billed for the first night only on your credit card. If you cancel no later than 72 hours prior to the Reunion, this charge will be refunded. This is a good reason to book your room now. If you decide at a later date that you're unable to attend, you won't pay a penalty. We are honored to accept these committments from a Toast Master and a toast burner.DVDs Coming soon to a TV set near you. Don BRENNAN, who has directed, filmed, edited and arranged for the production of DVDs from Reunion 2K4 and 2K5, is currently negotiating with the repro company to determine a fair price for additional copies, which will then be made available to members who wish to purchase them. If you are interested in obtaining copies, please write, call or e-mail me with your request.
